Menergy Group is looking for operations manager for our offshore manpower, logistics and catering businesses. This role could be based out of any of our operational locations in Africa. Candidates to note that this role involves frequent and unpredictable travel. The main responsibilities are –


  • Crew change planning with HR
  • Coordinating with client’s agents on all incoming/outgoing crew on suitable arrangements
  • Coordinating with HR on mob/demob of crew for all locations
  • Organising and attend operations meetings with all respective team members
  • Be in regular touch with clients particularly for projects and manage clientexpectations
  • Attend emergency meetings due to any issues on all rigs
  • Support the BD unit on inputs for bidding processes
  • Follow all required operations SOP and ensure team follows it
  • Assist in sourcing suitable vendors for catering across all locations
  • Preparation of Import/Export documentation for containers/food imports
  • Liaise up with logistics team on transport of containers
  • Assist to manage employee grievances, on ground challenges on all rigs
  • Push all teams across various functions on regular basis for delivery of projects
  • End to end project management
  • Conflict management internally and with clients


  • Bachelor’s degree or other tertiary level education required
  • Minimum of five years maritime and/or Oil and Gas experience.
  • Prior experience as Operations Director or Manager desirable
  • Willingness to take charge and take on challenges.
