Ian Martin

Ian Martin is a Director with the Menergy Group and a senior Advisor to the Chairman.

Ian Martin has 40 years’ experience in the offshore drilling industry spread across many global locations. He spent 20 years offshore in various positions up to Drilling Superintendent and OIM, then he moved into various onshore roles with Global Santa Fe, SONGA Offshore, and FRIGSTAD offshore, such as Rig Manager, Country Manager, Corporate Operations Manager, VP Global Operations, SVP Global Operations, and Chief Operating Officer. Mr Martin has extensive experience leading dynamic Offshore Drilling teams along with Projects/New rig construction.

Mr Martin is a UK citizen and lives in Dubai and is a member of the Singapore Institute of Directors.
